Meet The Team
Dr Jaime Delgadillo
Dr Delgadillo is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Sheffield. He also leads a clinical research team at RDASH NHS Foundation Trust, where he practises as Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. His clinical interests are in the treatment of depression, anxiety and addiction problems. His research applies precision medicine methods (e.g. advanced diagnostic, monitoring and prognostic technologies) in mental healthcare, aiming to improve patients’ response to treatments available in the NHS. He has led the development and implementation of personalised care technologies in NHS psychological services, for example the IAPT outcome feedback system proven to improve depression treatment outcomes
Amy Southgate
Clinical Studies Officer
Amy works as a Clinical Studies Officer for the Grounded Research Team within Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust. She also works as a Clinical Educator. Her role in UpLift has been to co-design and deliver one of the interventions for the trail.
Nicole King
Trainee Clinical Psychologist
Nicole is a second year student studying on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in Sheffield. Her role is to help support the research team, data collection and facilitate some of the interventions. She will also be conducting her dissertation on the outcomes of the UpLift trial.
Jeannie McKie
Research Governance Manager
Jeannie has been working with the Grounded Research Team for just under 3 years. She has over 16 years’ experience in research governance, study set up, performance management and study coordination. She is also an NIHR Good Clinical Practice (GCP) trainer. Her main areas of responsibility are managing RDaSH research governance processes and supporting the research delivery team. She is currently studying towards a Master’s in Health Research.
Dr Vikki Laker
Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Vikki Laker is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust and the University of Sheffield. Vikki is the trial manager of UpLift, so she has been involved throughout the design and set up of the study. Vikki was also part of the team of creators for one of the interventions being used in the trial, and will help deliver this intervention.
Laura Parkhouse
Clinical Studies Officer
Laura is a Clinical Studies Officer at Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust and was previously a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Rotherham IAPT. She has been involved in designing and developing one of the interventions for the trial.
Sarah Keeble
Clinical Studies Officer
Sarah works as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner for Rotherham IAPT and has recently joined the Grounded Research Team at Rotherham, Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust as a Clinical Studies Officer. She will be delivering one of the interventions for the UpLift trial.
Poppy Royal
Assistant Clinical Psychologist.
Poppy is an Assistant Psychologist for Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust and has recently joined the Grounded Research team as a Bank member of staff. Poppy’s role in the trial is to deliver one of the interventions for the UpLift trial.
Heather Rice
Assistant Director of Research
Heather Rice is the Assistant Director of Research for Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust who are Sponsors of the Uplift Trial. Heather has managerial responsibility for the Grounded Research Team in RDaSH to work with partners, to have oversight on governance and to ensure smooth delivery.
Dr Ben Davis
Clinical Psychologist
Ben is a Clinical Psychologist from Sheffield and he completed his doctorate research on burnout in mental health professionals and some of the findings have fed into the design of one of the interventions, which he will be helping to deliver.
Oliver Davis
Clinical Studies Officer
Oliver is a clinical studies officer for the grounded research team within the RDaSH NHS Foundation Trust. Oliver also works as a psychological well-being practitioner within the Rotherham IAPT service and will be helping deliver interventions as part of the UpLift trial.
